Step-By-Step Instructions To Repair A Leak
Step 1
Make sure the area is clean and dry. If the fitting is wet, use toilet paper to wick up all the water and a blow dryer to make sure the area is dry. Use a wire brush or sandpaper to clean the area.
Step 2
Apply the resin directly from the bottle; there’s no mixing or adding of hardeners or catalysts. Apply a continuous feed or resin all around the pipe, filling the area between the fitting and the pipe.
Step 3
Let the resin air cure for 24 hours. If required, after your first application is cured, you can add any resin to fill voids or to strengthen and repair. The added resin will chemically weld to the original pieces and the already applied lotion.
